Welcome to the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association!
The purpose of the Asian Pacific Americans Medical Students Association is to represent the Asian Pacific Americans within the health care community at University of Florida, to serve as a resource for information and a forum for discussion for issues relevant to Asian Pacific Americans in the field of medicine, to foster a sense of community within the student body and between students and faculty, and to promote community service opportunities for medical students.
We aim to participate in the following activities to better serve our purpose:
- Represent the University of Florida College of Medicine at APAMSA National and Regional Conferences
- Implement a mentor/mentee program for medical students
- Participate in health panels held for pre-medical students
- Host a yearly panel of APIA healthcare professionals
