Sarah: Contact her for anything firstname.lastname@example.org. Budgets and programming: Special request process works well for things that you want to do. If you submit a SR to us, you will be notified about the next MCC Eboard meetings (always Tuesday before the MCC meeting). You will be asked to dfend your proposal and answer questions. We look more favorably upon those orgs that are active (esp. with traveling). Contact Sherra about SRs. Organization of the year: turn in your activity reports! Choosing the winners is not based on who is on the eboard; there is no officer that would unfairly choose their own organization. Programming ideas: you, your class, anyone—let sarah know. We can do speakers (internal med report about medicare reimbursing based on quality vs. quantity). Let her know if you know of anyone who can give a good speech.
Sherita: SARs going well but still have problems with Papa Johns. Suggestion: order at a reimbursement. Put yourself as the vendor and pay with debit or credit card, then turn in receipt to Rob; then you will get the check and you can deposit it before your credit card bill is due! Ask Sherita any questions. Submit SARs 3 weeks in advance! Activity reports should be given to Andrea. If you don’t, your funds will be frozen. If you are late, cc Sherita on the email so that she unfreezes your funds. Reciepts and SAR: make a copy for Sherita, for SG and for yourself. Treasurer should keep track of your money and how much you have left. SR process is here for you!! Don’t worry if you don’t have money. If you want, you can even do a bulk SR with many events that you want to do in the Spring.
Andrea: (Sarah) Link your group with the national organization. You can get a lot of money and perks!! Students can join at discount or even for free. Contact her if you are interested in her help.
Beryl: COACH: It will start next semester so that it can be organized and well put together. We want IG that’s are really interested to participate in giving the students a good experience. The plan is to have all weekends set up before the kids sign up. Sat mornings 10:30 to noon. You only have to commit to one day! Stephanie Evans is a prof up the hill: might do a talk about the history of women in medicine. There’s a lot of publicity about this right now. Social: Look out for emails about that. If you have any event ideas contact Beryl! Sarah adds about COACH: might have more IGs that want to participate. You’ll get a form that you can fill out so that we know that you have thought out an idea and some good activities to do. These will be turned in within a month or so, but we’ll let you know. Perhaps do two groups every Saturday. We don’t want to get involved with transportation. The program will be tailored to feedback. MCC will pay for everything!!!
