What is the Purpose of the Event? SSIG would like to host a suture clinic to teach UF medical students how to suture.

What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? Mastering the skill of suturing is useful, as it sets UF medical students apart from their competitiors. In addition, these skills have proven to be useful to medical students who are travelling on Medical Missions trips. In order to host such an event, the Surgical Subspecialties group must provide the necessary tools to those that sign up so that they may learn the skills that the residents will be teaching. We would also like to thank the residents that are volunteering for the event by providing them (and those that attend the suture clinic) with food. We would also like to expand from our typical pizza orders and get subs for what promises to be a special meeting
