What is the Purpose of the Event? The Maren Room is a place for relaxation and artistic expression for medical students. The Maren family donated the money for this room. Every year we like to hold an event where we rededicate the room and thank the Maren’s for donating. The Marens attend the event. We also have medical students come in a perform for the Marens and give a mini-concert. It is a nice evening event with dinner provided.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? The event thanks the Maren’s for their contributions to the campus. The event also gives medical students an opportunity to demonstrate their artistic talents and see what other medical students do in their free time.
