Purpose of Trip: The national AMA-MSS Interim Meeting is held annually to bring students from around the country together to discuss important advocacy efforts and political issues facing us as medical students and future physicians. This meeting gives students the opportunity to learn about and participate in policy-making procedures and to network with other future healthcare leaders. Educational programming at the Interim Meeting includes leadership development, recruitment and service idea exchange, public health outreach education, and more. Because we will only be able to send a small delegation to this meeting, we will bring back the information we receive to present it to the rest of our membership.
