What is the Purpose of the Event? Student accepted to the College of Medicine will receive a copy of The White Coat in their acceptance package. The White Coat provides perspectives on what it means to be a UF medical student, including the opportunities for involvement in student interest groups, research, curriculum committees, etc.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? The White Coat advertises the UF College of Medicine to accepted students in hopes that they make an informed decision about where to attend medical school. This has proven to be a powerful tool in recruiting the best applicants to UF.
