What is the Purpose of the Event? Various Lunch talks throughout year. We expect 50 people per lunch talk and expect to have 3 lunch talks a year for 2013-2014
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? The American Medical Women’s Association is an organization which functions at the local, national, and international level to advance women in medicine and improve women’s health. We achieve this by providing and developing leadership, advocacy, education, expertise, mentoring, and strategic alliances.
The AMWA chapter at the University of Florida is excited to promote these ideals to encourage future physicians to be proactive in bettering women’s health and advocating reform.
