Purpose of Trip: The Asian medical student community is underrepresented in all aspects of student body organizations despite the comparatively large Asian student population. Asian medical professionals are underrepresented in roles of authority in the medical field. These issues will be addressed by APAMSA, and by attending the conference, we aim to learn how the broader Asian community is dealing with these issues.
