What is the Purpose of the Event? The Career Development Seminar Series hosted by the Graduate
Student Organization and Office of Graduate Education in the UF College
of Medicine is a program designed to familiarize students with
opportunities available to them after completion of their training in M.S.
and Ph.D. programs. This encompasses not only College of Medicine but
also the UF College of Dentistry and the UF College of Engineering’s
Biomedical Engineering program.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? The most beneficial aspect of these seminars to students is exposure to
real-world experience in their respective fields — many of the speakers
chosen previously are recruited from all over the United States to give
sufficient perspective
