What is the Purpose of the Event? To introduce students to a variety of complimentary therapies and encourage them to be introspective and learn more about themselves in order to better understand others and provide more empathic care as a future healthcare provider. It is also a chance to participate in yoga, meditation, and art which will help students relax and better deal with their heavy work load.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? This event serves as a stress free weekend of leisurely learning that can greatly benefit the students who participate by allowing to broaden their horizons on health care.
