What is the Purpose of the Event? We would like to continue maintaining an organic garden plot on the main campus student garden plots for the use of medical students.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? We believe students benefit by learning about where their food comes form, and seeing the work it takes to grow food. Healthy eating is an important part of a balanced lifestyle and we find that gardening is a fun and interactive way to teach about healthy eating and to get students excited about it!
