SNMA had its first lunch time lecture in the series entitled: “Disparities in Medicine”. Over 40 Medical students attended the event that was interactive and informative. Dr. Albert Robinson, a Cardiac Anesthesiologist talked to the attendees about the different faces that disparities in medicine can take. He engaged the participants, educated them and made them laugh. Dr.Robinson has set an excellent trend as the first speaker in the series; the bar has been set exceedingly high. The caliber of performance promises to re-kindle excitement and interest in the Disparity Series, an event for which SNMA in years past was infamous.
