What is the Purpose of the Event? Event is aimed at increasing recruitment and provide professional enrichment to underrepresented medical students. We address community and societal health issues impacting underserved America.
Accepted students are invited for Second Look Weekend each year to meet with students & faculty and learn more about what UF College of Medicine and Gainesville have to offer.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? Recruitment of minority students is vital for the future of our State and University. Their training withing the state will assure an increase of health coverage to the undeserved minorities populations.
