The Emergency Medicine Student Association hosted the first of its EM Lunch Talk series on Tuesday, September 10th. Nearly sixty students from the Classes of 2015, 2016, and 2017 attended. Dr. Matthew Ryan spoke on the history of Emergency Medicine, including the development of this relatively young specialty, and on some of the many facets that make Emergency Medicine a unique specialty. Following his talk there was a very interactive Q&A session.
