Representatives from Haven Hospice came in on September 24th to educate students about hospice and it’s role in patient care. They dispelled common myths about hospice care, talked about how hospice works logistically, and discussed how they care for patients at the end of their life. The talk was hosted by AMSA and organized by Rachel John, a MS2 who worked in hospice care this past summer through an AMSA program.
