Purpose of Trip: Our primary intention in attending the FAFCC conference this year is to network with students and faculty running other Free Clinics in the state and learn about how they are running their clinics. We hope to find ways to improve and optimize our operations as well as potentially help them improve the way they provide care to their patients. We also aim to learn about grant opportunities that will be discussed during the conference breakout sessions. As our clinic continues to expand care options provided to more than 1,400 Alachua County residents each year, discussions on making clinic operations more efficient and finding additional funding opportunities will be critical to our future growth and success.
