Event held by GIG – Geriatric Medicine Interest Group on 08/22/2018:
The geriatrics interest group held a lunch meeting on “Sexuality in Long Term Care Facilities” with Dr. Susan Schneider. Legal, ethical and best practices were discussed including the role of dementia in sexual consent at long term facilities. Sexual transmitted diseases and financial implications within the geriatric community were also discussed.
