What is the Purpose of the Event? Social event sponsored by GSO for the biomedical science graduate program for students to spend time together away from the laboratory and enjoy food and activities together.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? Tailgate events help establish an identity and social support among the graduate students in the biomedical science program. They provide a simple platform to encourage work-life balance among doctoral candidates working rigorous hours, many of whom doing so far from immediate family.
