Event held by AIG – Anesthesiology Interest Group on 08/27/2018:
During Anesthesiology Interest Group’s introductory lunch meeting, medical and PA students were given the opportunity to learn the basics about the fascinating specialty of anesthesiology and to ask questions to our faculty advisor, Dr. Giordano. Topics included new advancements in research in anesthesia at Shands as well as the similarities and differences between anesthesiology and other specialties like surgery, emergency medicine, and more. AIG will be hosting simulations and workshops throughout the year with the help of our outstanding faculty, so keep an eye out for our future meetings!
