Event held by OncIG – Oncology Interest Group on 09/24/2018:
OncIG hosted its biannual Path to Heme/Onc meeting with a panel consisting of Dr. Lynch, medical oncologist, Dr. Slayton, pediatric oncologist, and Dr. Zumberg, hematologist. Students ranging from first year to third year came to listen to what a day in the life of a hematologist/oncologist was like, more information of the different sub-fields within hematology/oncology, and what steps students could do in medical school to make it there!
