Dr. Alice Rhoton-Vlasak, from UF’s department of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, spoke about how fertility preservation works and how it may apply to a room full of future physicians. She covered the indications for fertility preservation, including cancer treatment and delayed childbearing, for both men and women. The last 20 minutes of the meeting involved an open discussion on fertility preservation, debunking myths and sharing opinions and viewpoints.
