Event held by LMSA – Latino Medical Student Association on 10/09/2018:
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Gator Salsa club visited HMEB and turned lunch time into dance time! Students learned the basic steps and rhythm, and then the foundation was set. By the end of the lunch hour, students were paired up, practicing spins and coordinated group dance moves. The session ended with a final test, a salsa song with just a few move cues from instructors. The future gator docs showed their smooth moves, enjoyed some laughs, and enjoyed the energizing sounds of salsa.
