Event held by BEIM – Business and Entrepreneurs in Medicine on 11/16/2018:
This is the first meeting held by the Business and Entrepreneurship in Medicine Interest Group. The goal of this meeting was to express our mission to medical students: to provide resources to developing entrepreneurial and business skills that will provide an additional area of growth for medical students at UF and address the global need to produce more business-minded physicians with core values of integrity and compassion. We also had Dr. Gravenstein come to talk to our medical students about the avenues outside of academia and the clinic that a medical degree can open up for our students.
