Event held by CID – Cardiology Interest Group on 11/19/2018:
This was the first meeting of the new Cardiology Interest Group here at UF COM. Our faculty mentor, Dr. Ki Park, described her pathway to cardiology, what a typical workweek is like for her, and some general recommendations for MS1s and MS2s who may not have previously considered pursuing cardiology. A colleague of hers who is a second year interventional cardiology fellow accompanied her in answering questions ranging from research options, lifestyle considerations, and ethical issues about the department of cardiology.
