GSMIG (Global Surgery and Medicine interest Group) had its inaugural meeting on February 25th from 12-1pm in SLS of HMEB. We provided a brief introduction to our vision for this IG, plans for the future, and had Dr. Robin Petroze with UF Pediatric Surgery speak on her experience in the practice of global surgery.
