Event held by LMSA – Latino Medical Student Association on 08/20/2019:
Dr. Bird led our first medical Spanish workshop of the year as an introduction for the new MS1 members. The meeting consisted of an overview of LMSA and common medical Spanish phrases and responses for patient introductions and the HPI. The attendees were then split into groups to practice. We had undergraduate LMSA members present to act as standardized patients.
