Event held by AWS – Association of Women Surgeons on 09/23/2019:
AWS held a supply collection drive for Peaceful Paths, an organization that provides emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotline, transitional housing, victim advocacy, and restraining order assistance to victims of domestic violence and their children in Alachua, Bradford and Union counties. We provided a collection box in the HMEB atrium from September 23-27. This event is in line with the national AWS chapter national service week. Additionally volunteers helped distribute items at the shelter.
