Event held by APSA – American Physician Scientist Association on 10/19/2019:
The UF COM APSA hosted the APSA South Atlantic Regional Meeting. Two keynotes from Dr. Chris Jobin and Keith March on innovation and how to be effective researchers. Experts in science and social media spoke on a panel on using social media to promote accurate science. A mock study session for F grants was held for students to learn what makes a good grant. A poster session in the afternoon highlighted both undergraduate, medical student, and MD/PhD candidate research being conducted at UF.
