SSIG held its annual Resident/Fellow Panel. Residents and fellows from General Surgery residency and Surgical Subspecialties fellowships at Shands participated in a Q + A session with medical students. Topics discussed included types of surgical residency programs, pros and cons of general surgery, lifestyle and work balance, and research opportunities.
