This was our first ever Zoom Lunch and Learn with Dr. Michol Cooper. Dr. Cooper has her PhD in Biochemical Engineering and is a Vascular Surgeon here at UF Health. She was trained at John Hopkins and Mass General and provided us with insight into her experiences through her PhD, medical school, residency, fellowship, and as an attending doing research and surgery. She was an amazing inspiration to anyone who is interested in surgery, research, or learning how to balancing life with medicine. AMWA will continue to highlight different women in medicine to coordinate with our system’s blocks- stay tuned to the MCC Calendar for these events.
