Event held by AIG – Anesthesiology Interest Group on 08/31/2020:
Dr. Chris Giordano led a discussion introducing the field of anesthesiology to many of the first and second year medical students. He discussed the role of an anesthesiologist in chronic and acute pain management, the various subspecialties within the field, and the typical lifestyle. He also talked about other medical specialties that are most closely related to anesthesia and some of the expectations for applying to an anesthesiology residency program.
