The Student Interest Group in Neurology (SIGN) hosted a talk with Dr. Miguel Chuquilin – the Neurology Clerkship Director and Dr. Christina Wilson – the Neurology Residency Program Director and Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program Director. They discussed their paths to choosing neurology as their clinical specialty and gave lots of tips regarding how to succeed in the 4th year neurology clerkship and during neurology residency. They also discussed what neurology residency is like, specifically focusing on UF’s program and relating how this residency program compares to others across the country. They discussed various fellowships and sub-specialties, including the training requirements, patient populations, procedures entailed. They then answered many questions from the Zoom participants!
