Event held by MSFC – Medical Students for Choice on 10/15/2020:
In our first meeting of the semester, OB/GYN intern and UFCOM graduate, Erika Wert, discussed her experiences providing women non-judgmental care and counseling on abortion. She also spoke with students about abortion stigma and how abortion fits into her professional goals. She led an informative, experience-based talk on providing abortion care and the difficulties in accessing abortion for women in Northern Florida.
