Event held by GSMIG – Global Surgery and Medicine Interest Group on 12/01/2021:
This event was an introduction to the Syrian American Medical Society, a medical outreach organization that works on the ground in Syria to provide medical relief. In this meeting Dr. Saud Atassi, who volunteers with the organization, gave us an introduction to their work and gave us insight on his perspective on global medical outreach.
