What is the Purpose of the Event? The event will bring students together to create hygiene kits for the Grace Marketplace homeless shelter. We plan to meet outdoors and place hygiene products in bags which will subsequently be delivered to Grace Market Place.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? This event will create a volunteering opportunity for our medical students to help the Gainesville community. This will help the homeless in Florida, foster student altruism in the university, and possibly expose more students to our organization.
