What is the Purpose of the Event? The GSO holds a cookout at the end of each academic year to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduate students. This event was canceled last year due to the COVID shutdown, but we are excited to bring it back once again. The pavilion at Lake Wauburg has been reserved and an event permit with safety plan has already been filed with the University. We do not need to purchase additional hand sanitizer, masks or gloves as we have some left over from previous events.
What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? To celebrate another year of hard work by the COM graduate students.
