Event held by SNMA – Student National Medical Association on 02/19/2021:
UF SNMA hosted a Black History Month movie night where we came together and watched “Something the Lord Made”, a film about Vivien Thomas and his journey to transform the field of heart surgery. The movie was inspiring and moving, allowing students a chance to reflect on the hardships faced by Thomas while witnessing the triumphs he made through his hard work.
