Join the APSA for a showing of the award-winning, informative documentary “Picture a Scientist” following three distinguished female scientists and their career journeys through adversity, diligence, and discovery.
We spent a Friday evening watching “Picture a Scientist” to facilitate discussion about discrimination against women in science. The anecdotes shared by the scientists featured fostered excellent conversation among attendees, and a feeling for many of us that we are not alone in our struggle as female scientists.
