Event held by GIG – Geriatric Medicine Interest Group on 02/17/2021:
Dr. Elyaman is a geriatric medicine fellow at the University of Florida Institute on Aging studying under Dr. Mufti. She is going to instruct on the geriatric frailty assessment and speak about her time working at The Villages. The Institute on Aging instructs its fellows on the biological and psychological aspects of aging with an emphasis on interdisciplinary care. Research is available in epidemiology and policy within this fellowship, as well.
