Class of UFCOM 2024 graduate, Akeem Bartley, who recently matched into an integrated vascular surgery program at the University of South Florida discussed his experience with the residency application and interview process! He explained why he chose an integrated program over the traditional surgery programs, as well as what vascular surgery was in the first place and what drew him towards the field! Interested students who were curious about the field and the path to making this a career, had a chance to gain knowledge first hand from someone who has already accomplished it!
