Internal Medicine

Welcome to the Internal Medicine Committee!

The mission of the Internal Medicine Committee is to introduce and inform the UFCOM community about the field of internal medicine, both general practice and specialty branches.  We look forward to meeting all of you who are interested in this field through lunch meetings, special events, and educational workshops through the committee to engage and equip you in your pursuit of medicine. We plan on accomplishing our mission through:

  • Facilitating shadowing opportunities with internal medicine physicians
  • Hosting meetings with internists to explore the educational journeys, professional development and day-to-day life of internal medicine physicians.
  • Interactive workshops on procedures such as central line placements and biopsy simulations
