Welcome to the Mind-Body Medicine Committee!

The Mind-Body Medicine Committee provides medical students with opportunities to explore the powerful connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Through this group, students will gain exposure to integrative approaches to healthcare that emphasize self-awareness, mindfulness, stress management, and holistic healing practices.

We aim to foster a deeper understanding of how practices such as meditation, guided imagery, yoga, and reflective writing can enhance resilience and support both patient care and personal wellness in the medical profession.

Students will have access to hands-on workshops, lectures from experienced clinicians, and small group sessions designed to cultivate skills in mindfulness and emotional intelligence. Additionally, the group will offer avenues for involvement in research, community outreach, and potential collaboration with other student groups focused on wellness and mental health.

Whether you’re curious about the science behind mind-body interventions or looking to develop tools to support your own well-being throughout medical training, we invite you to join us in exploring the dynamic connection between mind and body.
