Welcome to the Military Medicine Gator Network (MMGN)!
(Service Members Support Group & Mentorship Program)
The Military Medicine Gator Network is the University of Florida College of Medicine’s Veterans and service members interest group! We are committed to building a community that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for those who have served or are interested in serving in the military. Our interest group recognizes the unique challenges and experiences Veterans and service members may have had in their journey. We understand the importance of fostering a community that not only acknowledges the sacrifices made by our Veterans and service members but actively works towards enhancing their academic and professional careers. Through various activities, discussions, and events, we aim to provide our members with a platform to connect, mentor, and collaborate.
In addition to offering support for Veterans and service members within the University of Florida College of Medicine, the Military Medicine Gator Network is a force multiplier that serves as a complimentary and voluntary mentorship program. We are committed to assisting Veterans, service members, their families, and prospective service members who aspire to explore educational and post-graduate opportunities. We will achieve our mission through close interdisciplinary networking and communications.
