Peds IG was invited to teach the kids at the Salvation Army’s Vacation Bible School for a week in August. A panel of oncologists including a medical, surgical, and radiation oncologist addressed the question of “Why Oncology?” Students came to hear how and why doctors chose to become oncologists.

Recently a handful of SNMA members volunteered at the New Horizon Outreach Ministries Health Expo. The goal of the event was to promote HIV testing and general health awareness in the local community.
