Peds IG had the third lunch talk in our Bench to Bedside series, sponsored by the Pediatrics Department! MS3, Sabikha Alam, presented a case on a patient with SCID and Dr. Elder discussed the latest research in the field.
In our 2nd Bench to Bedside lunch meeting this year, sponsored by the Pediatrics Department, Claudia Phen (MS3) did a case presentation on one of her pediatric patients. Dr. Upadhyay, pediatric nephrologist, then discussed relevant research and current guidelines regarding systemic lupus erythematosus and its nephrologic effects.

PedsIG had an introductory meeting to orient the members and outline all the opportunities we have for the upcoming year: research, shadowing, future meetings and talks, and new volunteering. We also answered questions and discussed some new ideas for potential projects with the interest group.
