What is the Purpose of the Event? Dr. Elizabeth Black, Pediatric Residency Program Director, and Dr. Scott Rivkees, Chair of the Department of Pediatrics, will be discussing pediatric residency programs with all medical students interested in pursuing a career in pediatrics. They will discuss what attributes to look for in a residency program. They will also discuss what attributes residency programs are looking for in a candidate.

What is the Benefit to the State, the university, and/or your organization? This event will make UF medical students more equipped to pursue residencies in pediatrics and residencies in general. It will provide them with the tools to choose a program wisely. It will also give them information about what residencies are looking for in candidates.
