Inter-professional Primary Care Panel

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) collaborated with the Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and the Physician Assistant Student Association (PASA) to bring together an inter-professional panel of primary care providers that talked about how they interact with each other’s professions on a daily basis to provide care to their patients. The panel consisted of a pharmacist, ARNP, and Family Medicine Physician who all talked about their roles in the primary care team, how their practices work, and how medicine can change to better foster team work between health professions in primary care. This was the first event in a series of events hosted by multiple organizations as part of primary care week.
