Teddy Fagrelius, one of AMSA’s national PharmFree representatives, visited the College of Medicine on November 5th to talk to students about conflict of interest and the relationship between physicians and pharmaceutical companies. He discussed some of the studies that demonstrated pharmaceutical influences on practicing physicians and talked about the PharmFree initiative and what they and certain universities like UF are doing to try and counteract the negative influences.
