Purpose of Trip: To whom it may concern,

AAPA Conference 2015 offers a unique opportunity for us as students to come together and learn, network and gain valuable experience while enhancing our education. We will have the chance to select three of our students to display their medical knowledge and compete in the always exciting Challenge Bowl. We will also:

• Take part in exceptional educational programs designed specifically for future PAs, and have access to select CME sessions
• Learn to successfully navigate the transition to the clinical years through the excellent offerings on contract negotiation, resume writing and interview preparation
• Network and make valuable connections at the Career Fair
• View and discuss research projects done by other students at the Poster Session
• Connect with practicing PAs, clinical preceptors and mentors
• Hear from noteworthy keynote speakers and thought leaders in the medical field and beyond

Questions/Concerns
The students in the PA class of 2016 submit this request form in the hopes that the MCC could grant our group funding in order to assist specifically with REGISTRATION FEES only. We realize that this is large request, and we have attempted to budget the entire trip to keep cost manageable. However, the only fixed number above is the registration fee required for conference attendance. We are also aware that there is a place in the existing budget for this event, unfortunately that amount was designed to assist 4 students in their travels and we are happy to say that we have 48 students attending!
