Event held by UIG – Urology Interest Group on 08/18/2018:
This event took place on Saturday August, 18th from 12pm-3pm and it was led by Urology Resident, Dr. Andrew Rabley.
During the event, Dr. Rabley first gave an intro talk to medical students about the field of Urology, the surgical procedures performed by a urologist, and about what interested him to the field of Urology. Then, Dr. Rabley and other residents guided students in the OR through using a simulator with the Da Vinci Surgical Robot. While students practice on the simulator, the residents talked to students about life as a urology resident and in general their path to figuring out what specialty they liked in medical school.
